On the heels of these fashion trends, the “Hipster” era hit the stores, which signaled the start of the teen fashion style. This fashion style focused on the image of hip-hop culture and was characterized by oversized, low-cut jeans and t-shirts. Most of the individuals wearing these clothing styles were either teenagers from areas with a large population of young people known as “Hipsters,” or they were teenagers who were drawn to the “Hipster” culture due to their desire to be part of something new.
